Inspiration
I wanted to make an app where it would be easier for people to be able to keep track of the Covid Cases in the world from 2020 to 2021.
What it does
It allows the user to make a graph from the given data set for the total Covid Cases from 2020 to 2021 in most countries in the world.
How we built it
I built it using Python in Visual Studio Code with the imports of Pandas and Matplotlib
Challenges we ran into
Since I'm still new in data sciences, it took me a while to learn how to access the data in the CSV file and a lot of testing with what works with what. I also learned a bit more on how to use github. covid-19 data
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm just happy that it works considering this is my first Hackathon.
What we learned
I learned more about the Panda and Matplotlib library.
What's next for Covid Tracker
I initially wanted to make this an App but since I don't have any experience in app development yet, I just did the coding for it for now but in the future, I want to be able to make this into an app where people will notified if there is a case nearby so that they would avoid that area if need be and to also keep track on the total cases that has happened on that day, etc.
