Inspiration
Social distancing rules are introduced during the covid pandemic to reduce the spread and keep everyone safe. However, there are always some people that don't play by the rules.
Here, we would like to visualize the consequences and educate people about the importance of social distancing and wearing masks through building a game.
What it does
A game stimulating covid social distancing rule in real life
Features
Key left and right control to dodge other humans
Point system (+1 when successfully dodged one human)
Crash (when player collide with human/ enter the 2m radius)
Increase player speed after each successful dodge
How we built it
Figma for designing opening & ending screens
Piskel for drawing sprints
Pygame for game development
Challenges we ran into
More than half of the team are complete beginners in hackathons and game development, we learnt a lot about how to code and game development from scratch
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We built a game!!
What we learned
We learnt a lot about game development using pygame and designing sprint using piskel
What's next for Covid Stimulation Game
