Inspiration
We wanted to do something related to recent events in the pandemic, especially with COVID cases on rise again, while incorporating ML and was inspired by similar gridworlds used in teaching reinforcement learning and wanted to create something similar. We wanted to see if given the conditions of a pandemic and resource management, if the supervisor will be able to find a semblance of a social distancing policy for the people in the simulation while still trying to get import resources like food and money.
What it does
This project simulates COVID-19 individual dynamics and uses reinforcement learning to optimize individual decision.
