Inspiration

The Covid-19 crisis in India which was caused due to inadequate resources for the people to get tested and taken care of if they were affected by Covid - 19

What it does

The app is built to track the Covid -19 symptoms for senior citizens to determine their health condition and report the results to the national Covid - 19 emergency service and to the primary emergency conatcts provided by the user via email.

How we built it

We have used tkinter with python and integrated the CockroachDB and file handling.

Challenges we ran into

Integration with CockroachDB was one of the biggest challenges as it was our first working with the database. Another one of the challenges was programming data validation

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have made a successful application and were able to integrate the email sender into our app.

What we learned

We have learnt to stay persistent through the hard times and that working together as a team makes the challenges easier

What's next for Covid Quarantine Assistance Program

Our next step would be making it more convenient for the users by adding a voice assistant to fill out the required health information log everyday.
