Inspiration
When Covid 19 started to affect the world badly, a teenager called Avi Schiffmann made one of the biggest websites for information on the virus. This inspired me to make my own website which I intend to make it go further.
What it does
The Website provides quick information on the virus, from background information to local covid regulations.
How we built it
I built the website with careful consideration on what to do and I used html, js and css to code the website.
Challenges we ran into
I ran into many challenges and one of them is that I am not very experienced in coding let alone web app development. However I managed to make the website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud that I was able to make a website for the first time despite my limited knowledge in coding.
What we learned
I learnt that it is hard to satisfy every single viewer of the website as I conducted a survey with a few people that I know and everyone wanted different things to be added and removed.
What's next for COVID Informational Website
It is my intention to make this website go further to new heights. I want this website to serve it's purpose and deliver information on Covid 19 to as many people as possible. I will be conducting another survey on what people would want to see on this website and will implement new features that people want. This website will eventually share information about the virus to a myriad of people and make sure that the people are well informed about the virus so that they can make rational decisions when it comes to the pandemic as one of the main reasons we are here today is because not many people are well informed about the virus.
