COVID-HACK is a platform to register for COVID-19 vaccination and schedule their vaccination slots at the nearest vaccination centres. It also helps in the distribution of vaccine doses to hospitals.

Inspiration

In this pandemic situation where there are hustle and bustle all around us, we decided to make the vaccination drive smoother mainly for the people who are not generally accustomed to technology. This project aims to help in the vaccination drive.

What it does

HackCOVID is a platform to register for COVID-19 vaccination and schedule their vaccination slots at the nearest vaccination centres. Moreover, our website will provide real-time data to users. It tracks the record of logistics and keeps an eye on the distribution of vaccine doses.

Challenges we ran into

As we used MongoDB for the first time while updating and retrieving records from the database it was frequently giving errors that were very hard to debug. We faced little difficulties while making the dashboard.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to complete our project within time constraints. The website was fluid to use and all the database connections were healthy.

What we learned

This was our first project, so at the end of this hackathon, we were able to design a fully-fledged website working with the database.

What's next for Co-Vax

The use of ML/AI to diagnose ailments and corresponding health steps could be taken. This platform can also be used for collaboration with other small scale companies for medical supplies.
