Inspiration My parents are doctors and have seen them helping people since last year meticulously and helping everyone with required information on medicines, how to identify the issue and preventive measures.

What it does : Our Virtual assistant Covid Aide with speech option will help to idenfiy the severity of the symptoms and guide with the next steps and easy access to links.

How we built it: We built this using Python libraries of speech and text.

Challenges we ran into: It was difficult to make the help using speech option and also ensuring we are able to cover major symptoms and identify the next steps. This included lot of research to ensure if the content is genuine since with digitization fake information and too much content causes the confusion.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are proud to ensure that this assistant can be used by anyone since it works on speech and also backed up by right medical information. This is user friendly tool which and a very simple easy to go to assistant.

What we learned: We learned on how to innovate simple tools to ensure the right information is presented in simpler way.

What's next for Covid Aide : The next for Covid Aide will be to help with steps if hospitalization is needed and also steps to be taken if home quarantine to be done. The next step will also involve helping with small steps on mindfulness and also on how to avoid anxiety issues.
