Inspirations:

During the Covid-19 global pandemic, most of the people don't know about the safety of their city from the virus, how to check if they are infected or not, and the latest news of the Corona-virus. In order to give people information about the pandemic so they can be more careful and keep themselves, we create an application for warning system, such as the safety of a region from the virus infection, the probability of how people is suspected to be infected, and the latest news about the pandemic which can be trusted.

What it does:

It can detect about the safety status from a region. Just give your city's name, and it will show you about your safety if you stay in that place.
It can check the percentage of your healthy. Answer several questions with honest, and then it will show you the percentage of your healthy. The higher percentage, the more it will be better.
It will give you the latest news about COVID-19 Global Pandemic news which came from the trusted source.

How we built it: First of all, we didn't make the real applications yet. Everything that we submit is only of our User Interface Design and functionality, and we design it with Adobe XD Ideas. But, if you highlight us, we will accept your offer, and then we will build the applications using Android Studio with a programming language called Kotlin.

Challenges we ran into: There is several challenges that we face during the design of this applications. First, we can't meet each other like usually, so we have to discuss everything about the design from online platform, like WhatsApp or Telegram. Second, we can't get out for field research because our government prohibited everyone from gathering to a place or get out from home (physical distancing) in order to stop the virus from spreading out. The only solutions to find our best and suitable idea is using online news platform and newest information about the pandemic, read it, find a problem from it, and create an application to solve it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: Honestly, this is our first hackathon. So, we prepare as best as we can, and design our prototype with serious. We hope we can get more benefits from this hackathon.

What we learned: We learned that working together as a team can solve anything, even in this uncomfortable situations. We also learned that solving the local problem by create an application make ourselves become more care to society. We hope the next hackathon will give us another unforgotten lessons.

What's next for COVID-19 Warning System: We hope that our design is highlighted, so we can build it and fix it before it is launched to public. We also hope that there are another programmers who see this prototype and inspire them for creating a better solutions.
