Inspiration
We were inspired when we saw how different countries distribute vaccine to their people and inspect the vaccination process.
What it does
This app allows the user to signup for a vaccination appointment, choose their choice of vaccine and keep themselves updated with the latest news on Covid-19. Based on their submission, if the application is successful, the nearest healthcare centre will contact the user. The app also allows the healthcare staffs to learn and build a dataset on the number of people who have registered based on location, gender, age and types of vaccine.
How we built it
We used Python, Flask, Bootstrap and HTML/CSS.
Challenges we ran into
Allowing the healthcare staffs to view the list of the people who registered for the vaccination slot in real-time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to have 2 different logins (patient and healthcare staffs). The healthcare staffs can login to view the number of registered people and also contact them easily if an appointment is available. And for the user, he/she does not have to trave far to get vaccinated.
What we learned
We learned how to use Flask to deploy web applications quickly
