Inspiration

We always wanted to build a simple one page clean UI which is very handy and one can use it for getting all the necessary information about the covid cases very easily. This single page UI helps the user to easily navigate across the page and get all the relevant information like graphs, maps etc.

What it does

This Project is a beginner friendly project we built using React. Some key Aspects:

Shows Live Cases, Recoveries, Deaths (clickable tabs) Shows Worldwide cases and Country Based cases Line Chart shows fluctuations over days, hover around to see exact figures Clickable Markers on Map show Country stats Deployed live on https://rolwyn-covid-19-tracker.web.app/

How we built it

We have built it using Reactjs and the hosting part is done using Firebase.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was trying to integrate our react application with live tracking API that we used...disease.sh is the website we used for all the data

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that at the end we were successfully able to build a clean one page UI that shows all important data that one need to know at any time regarding the cases around the globe.

What we learned

This project helped us improve our web development skills. Learned more about javascript and also we learned time management , skills and also fulfillment of doing hardwork
