COVID-19 Symptom Checker

Inspiration

Current events and confusion around common seasonal illnesses.

What it does

Asks the user a series of questions denoting their symptoms and adds scores to each illness. Then informs the user what their symptoms most closely coincide with.

How I built it

We wrote a python script with the do-be-suggested illness as a class. A questionnaire method that calls on other symptom methods to ask the user whether they have said symptom or not, then adjusts scores based on that.

Challenges I ran into

We're all very new.

Exposure to working on a program collaboratively with a team.

What's next for COVID-19 Symptom Checker

It'd benefit from a GUI to make interfacing better and using more advanced data structures would make the survey more robust.
