Inspiration

Being Deaf, we have experienced first hand the challenges of accessing Covid-19 information in Kenya during live break news on TV. We need to educate Deaf kids how to protect themselves from spreading covid-19 and understand how to wash their hands in sign language.

What it does

Covid-19 Statistics and Information in Sign language is the Facebook Messenger that enables both Hearing and Deaf users to ask for the latest statistics of the covid-19 from the world or specific country and to ask for the information of covid-19 in sign languages from countries.

Lack of resoruces I need for collecting more information of covid-19 in sign language for everyone in the world.

As Deaf engineer, I started to research how to retrieve dataset of covid-19 before starting to develop Facebook Messenger on the following day. It works.
