COVID-19 safe is a website that offers easy access to relevant information about the coronavirus and provides aid to help get through these tough times.
Inspiration: We saw that many people were being misinformed, bored, and worried through this pandemic and thought that it would be helpful to make this one-stop solution to all these issues!
What it does: It allows for people to be kept busy during the pandemic through the map functionality and allows for them to be safe through the home remedies, news, and symptom checker functionalities
How I built it: We programmed the website using HTML and CSS and shared it with one another via Github
Challenges I ran into: We were having trouble fitting the website on different types of monitors due to pixel numbers so we had to solve that issue accordingly
Accomplishments that I'm proud of: We were able to cooperate very efficiently and got it done in a very good amount of time
What I learned: We learned how to use APIs in websites properly and expanded out knowledge on general HTML/CSS
What's next for COVID-19 Safe: We plan on also making a mobile application to expand our potential audience
