COVID-19 resource webpage

We wanted to provide people with resources for COVID-19, making a special page for people who are dealing with mental health issues. We also tried making a 24-hour chatbot, but we were unsuccessful

Inspiration

Inspired to provide people with helpful resources for COVID-19. Applied programming skills to build a webpage, which is the biggest inspiration for our team members. And collaborating was the biggest reward.

What it does

The webpage includes all the information about COVID-19. This includes resources for learning and mental health, about Covid, FAQs about Covid-19, and also the comment section to post other questions and concerns about Covid-19.

How we built it

We use languages like HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python. We built this webpage using repl.it and also with the help of team members. Using online resources such as W3schools and videos.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into creating a chatbot, which failed. We tried our best to make this webpage responsive. Stying the CSS was also challenging because all of us are beginners and have a little experience in coding.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We have created our webpage and completed it on time. Working with teammates is also an accomplishment for us. styling the webpage and using some creativity on it is also an accomplishment.

What we learned

Some of us learned to use repl.it, we've learned how to be successful working with team members, and learned new languages from one another. We learned and gained some coding skills while styling our webpage.

What's next for COVID-19 resource webpage

We can add a chatbot later. Add more resources there. Will try to make it more responsive. Bring up the COVID map to show live cases around the world. We would also like to add a section where others can contact doctors in an emergency.
