COVID-19 Prevention Alert App

App will help you to remind about prevention acts to do. It's important to add these to in our habits and this app do that exactly. Everytime you go outside or come back home, it will alert you.

Inspiration

The government bodies and health organisations are trying a lot to create awareness about COVID-19 but the problem is that still, people are not taking prevention measures even after knowing it. Reasons can be anything, you might be in a hurry or busy. There you need someone to remind you of the prevention measures you should take.

What it does

In a simple way, It just reminds you to wash hands, avoid public and so on whenever you leave your Quarantine or come back home. Also, user can take a symptom Test.

The app will register the user using their Name, Age and Gender. Then it will ask you to set your quarantine location as a primary/base location. Whenever you step outside of it or will return back, both situation will trigger an alert asking you some questions e.g. washed your hands? kept the sanitiser with you? etc. and will inform you that is it safe to go outside or enter quarantine or not.

The Symptom test is a series of few questions and an activity (Holding breathe) by which the app can predict either you are affected by the COVID-19 or not. This kind of work as a basic first-aid activity rather than joining the crowd at the doctor's place which already has some COVID-19 patients

How I built it

I just came up with the idea and designed it yesterday on the Adobe XD to provide you with the basic idea how it will work. I think it can be developed on React Native or Android Native easily.

Challenges I ran into

The basic and the biggest challenge to this was to create something easy to use and simple which can make a better impact to the people and help us fighting COVID-19.

What's next for COVID-19 Prevention Alert App

There can be many things we can do with this app is like adding realtime charts of affected people count. New prevention measures, news related to COVID-19 but most important it should be adopted by all famous app and add this as a feature to their app. No new installs will be required then.
