Problem

COVID-19 Herd Immunity might overwhelm the healthcare system Development of a safe COVID-19 vaccine will take at least 12 – 18 months Most individuals with COVID-19 will experience mild symptoms and do not need hospitalization

Goal

To establish population immunity with minimal strain on the healthcare system

How ?

Health conditions of COVID (+) patients who needed hospitalization (high risk) will be collected anonymously from hospitals via an interface (app or website)

Objective self-reported health conditions of COVID (+) patients with mild symptoms who did not need hospitalization (low risk) will be collected anonymously via an interface (app or website)

Hospitalization risk factors will be identified by comparing/analysing the two datasets

Next

Individuals with high hospitalization risk factors will continue self isolation/social distancing Individuals with low hospitalization risk factors will resume normal life activities COVID-19 prevalence will be monitored by contact tracing apps or testing
