Inspiration
As I noticed COVID-19 cases have increased, and is slowly recovering through the vaccine, 61, 361 people have died, my website can make a stop to this!
What it does
My website provides a little information about COVID-19. It also talks about Symptoms that causes COVID, and includes changes that you can make to prevent yourself from getting COVID.
How we built it
I brainstormed the design, using Figma. I also used 000webhost for my coding platform. The coding languages I used were, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges I ran into, was finding an online coding platform that is appropriate for PHP, as well as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also had trouble making the computer collect the data that the user would input for the Question form.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am extremely proud of creating a website that can take in the data the user provides in the Question form. I am also proud of the UI/UX design!
What we learned
I learned how to troubleshoot problems, by just persevering, and continuing to find the answer. I also learned PHP during this time period. Before I joined this hackathon, I only knew HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. But once I was persevered to find out how to allow the computer to collect the User's Data, I researched, and was able to complete my goal!
What's next for COVID-19 Online
If I had more time creating this website, I would learn how to STORE the User's Data. Unfortunately, this hackathon was only a 24-hour hackathon, meaning I didn't have enough time to learn it.
