Inspiration

The official Novel COVID-19 world tracker form the World Health Organization

What it does

Provides up to date statistics on the current cases, deaths and recovered cases world wide as well as per country, also provides news articles related to COVID-19 for those thirsty for a read

How I built it I

I used the Novel COVID-19 API provided by GitHub user @NOVELCOVID and used a React App as the client. Also fetched news articles using the News API.

Challenges I ran into

The API had limited data at the time I was building, so features such as world maps could not be accomplished.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I was able to practice my redux skills as I worked on this project and I am slowly becoming confident in using it

What I learned

I learnt how to implement charts, something I have not done before with React.
