Jenga Ventures plans to run a bespoke, problem-centric accelerator for innovations and innovators solving pressing health challenges related to COVID-19 in Africa's Great Lakes region. We’ll identify and select a group of about 6-10 health innovations run by highly ambitious founding teams, and spend time to help them accelerate their impact. We've started this process by supporting an early detection app for the spread of this scourge in Congo. But we need to widen the support into diverse areas of interventions that all need to work in tandem to stop the coronavirus, or at least slow it down.
We’ll devise a tailored acceleration plan fit for each innovation team. Over a 6-month period, each innovation team will go through a journey of problem-based learning, tailored support from industry experts and practitioners, and access to a network of mentors and resources.
