COVID-19 Exposure AI Predictor

This is an AI-based simulation to determine the likelihood you've been infected with COVID-19 by a classmate, based on how recently they were infected, and how exposed you were to them.

Inspiration

We noticed that contact-tracing software didn't really elaborate on the likelihood of you being infected, so taking government data, we made a calculator for that specific purpose!

What it does

We use an neural network to calculate the odds of someone being infected, based on their exposure to positive cases.

How we built it

Using the AI model, we simulate thousands of situations.

Challenges we ran into

We had issues working with HTML with Python, so we had to switch everything to JavaScript.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We worked around challenges as a team.

What we learned

Sometimes you just need some more coffee, and sometimes, you need to plan things out further ahead.

What's next for COVID-19 Exposure AI Predictor

We plan to expand on the GUI for this app.
