Covid-19 dashboard info

Information should be easily accessible. I wanted to make a dashboard for Covid-19. So I made a website of Covid-19 statistics of worldwide and local emergency information for people to easily access.

Inspiration

Covid-19 has been declared as a worldwide pandemic recently. So, to do my part as a human, I was motivated to develop a Covid-19 dashboard that benefits everybody by providing the statistics of the disease around the globe. Also, people from Bangladesh can also get to know the emergency information regarding the corona virus. Moreover, the latest updates by the WHO on the Covid-19 has been emphasized on too.

What it does

Shows Covid-19 info globally. Country wise information can be searched and found easily. The pandemic situation of my country is focused.

How I built it

I built it with html, css, javascript and an API called Coronavirus monitor API from rapidapi.com.

Challenges I ran into

making it responsive for all devices. Currently it is best optimized for the web.

To make API integrations, handling dynamic data, user friendly UI design etc.

What's next for Covid-19 dashboard info

It can be extended for more information for the community in coping with novel corona virus.
