What it does

Coverage learns the shot list from your last delivery on the NAS and tells you which views are missing from today's shoot, before you pack up.

Inspiration

Product shoots run on a fixed list of views: front, back, side, detail. The view you miss is the one that hurts, because you usually find it after the lights come down and the set has to go back up. Shot-list tools exist, but you build the list first and drag every frame into its slot. On a NAS, the last delivery is already sitting there, named by product and view. So the shot list already exists. It just isn't being used.

How it works

  1. "Check today's shoot against the last delivery."
  2. It reads the file names in that delivery (like 1043_back.jpg) and learns every product's views and the minimum size.
  3. The NAS image model labels each of today's frames.
  4. It leads with what to shoot: "3 of 6 complete. 1043: back missing." Then a grid: covered, missing, unsure or too small.
  5. You approve saving the report. That's the only change it makes.
  6. You reshoot, say "check again", and only the new frames are read.

How I built it

A Markdown-only Uliya skill: SKILL.md plus three references, no scripts. Eight delegate commands to the file, photo and knowledge experts. Every value passed between steps comes from the user or a real result, so a missing value stops the step instead of guessing. It passes the UGREEN kit checker with 0 errors and 0 warnings.

Challenges

  • Never ticking a guess. Unsure frames stay unsure and are shown to you.
  • Camera prefixes like IMG and DSC look like product codes. They aren't, so the skill ignores them.
  • Whether the image model can read a photo before the Photos app scans it is still unknown. That's the first thing I'll test on the NAS.

What's next

If selected, test it on a real NAS with six self-made products and four planted problems.
