  Arm the doctors to fight Pandemics

Inspiration

Prepare the world by building an infrastructure to fight Pandemics. The world has been prepared for wars but not for Pandemics. COVID19 isn't the first and wont be the last. We need to use this time and situation to build infrastructures that would empower us to tackle any epidemic/pandemic situation, now and in the future.

What it does

Global health data repository that informs doctors in real time about the best treatment option.

How I built it

1. Ideation in a hackathon
2. Team building- Recruiting people with complimenting skillets
3. Survey with doctors and hospitals in various nations- to understand flexibility in data

Challenges I ran into:

A worldwide initiative, every country has a different healthcare system and infrastructure, some more open than the other. It is therefore critical to start in pockets where we generate most partnerships, show positive case studies and move on.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

1. Interest from Amazon Web Services in partnership
2. WHO support
3. The framework could also be used to provide a central framework for clinical trials across the globe.

What I learned

You need to take the first step to solve a problem and you keep walking towards a solution.

What's next for COVENGERS

Partnerships with different countries/hospitals/doctors to bring it into action.
