CoVax by LiquidApps is a mobile and desktop app that enables anyone, anywhere to help find a vaccine for COVID-19 by donating idle computational power.
Covax is based on open-source code released by Folding At Home, a distributed computing project which was started 19 years ago at Stanford University, and enhanced by LiquidApps’ proprietary blockchain technology.
Computational power amassed through CoVax can serve as a supercomputer for researchers and pharma companies to utilize in a variety of efforts that are crucial to better understanding of how COVID-19 functions and how to develop a vaccine.
LiquidApps has already brainstormed potential features, such as supplying data to a collective global pool, that can be built by developers using our CoVax infrastructure.
