Inspiration

When developing a curriculum syllabus, the process of conceptualizing assignment ideas and assembling slide references can be time-consuming for educators. To address this challenge, we utilize PartyRock to streamline and facilitate these tasks efficiently.

What it does

PartyRock empowers users to effortlessly generate course images, curriculum structures, assignment ideas, and presentation slides tailored to specific course parameters. This application allows customization of content based on the course topic, session length, academic level, and language preferences. This ensures a smooth and efficient creation process for educational materials.

How we built it

We constructed this application utilizing the PartyRock app provided by AWS, completing the development process in just a few hours.

Challenges we ran into

• Generating content with multiple widgets (4 - 5 widgets, in our case) can occasionally lead to extended processing times and even browser crashes.
• The foundation model may not always return the desired output or may provide similar output formats with different parameters.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We take pride in the fact that this tool has significantly assisted educators in easily creating teaching courses, resulting in substantial time savings.

What we learned

Our experience taught us the importance of efficient prompt engineering and effective design and utilization of the PartyRock application for optimal speed and efficiency.

What's next for Course Generator for Educator

Our next goal for the Course Generator for Educators is to explore ways to generate comprehensive content for each session based on the provided or generated course outline.
