Inspiration
I have a hard time choosing courses I want to take every semester . I wish I had some to help me with the courses like the students that have already taken the courses and that can suggest me courses based on my interest.
What it does
A bot builder where you find course information . This bot can be extended to feed in any kind of text and it would answer from the document.
How we built it
Using Python and NLTK
Challenges we ran into
Firstly, we are beginners at Python. We started with trying a lot of APIs and it had a lot of complicated . We started learning how to build a basic chatbot in python and faced obvious challenges trying to figure out if we needed an AI based chatbot or IR based chatbot given the timeframe.
