CounterCorona is an innovative initiative using digital technology, social media and proven public health practices to reduce the burden of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection worldwide. Our message is that best ways to prevent spread of this virus is when everyone learns about the "modes of transmission of this deadly virus, understand the proven techniques of prevention and practice them for the minimum of 14 days (incubation period of this virus). Also SHARE this message with at least ONE person known to them (EACH ONE REACH ONE). It is our hope that ALL OF US will integrate such basic proven prevention message to prevent not only SARS-CoV-2 infection but other viruses transmitted via Respiratory Route. We would have liked to integrate some form of "Financial Incentives" to encourage such behaviour modification but time contrainment has not allowed us to do so for this pilot project. I have retired after servicing the State Public Health Department as a Public Health Physician and Epidemiologist for 32 years. During the course o employment I was funded 100% by Centers ;for Disease Control and Prevention. My ultimate goal is to develop a "SEAMLESS DIGITAL SOLUTION that would include, Relevant and pertaining Local Epidemiological Data to the user, Essential Prevention and Care assessment tools, Referral to local resources for the cousening, testing and care services and Telemedicine consultation and Care using the digital interface for the COVID-19 diseases, if financial resources are made available. Since there is a lack of integration between local, county, state and federal government, such critical system can be used in future for many other pandemics as an independent system.
