We were inspired by one of our friends who sells haircuts for $10. We decided that for the prompt of an innovative system for students to share resources and supplies we would make a website for students to share their services such as tutoring, transportation, and other commonly sought after things for money. This would allow students who don't have time for a job to still make money as well as keep money withing the student body.
We built our project using Visual Studio Code and Github to collaborate. Our code utilizes python and html. We realized that it was a little overcomplicated to complete our entire goals within the 24 hour period, so we shifted our focus into making a prototype that demonstrates our idea on how this website would work.
The challenges we faced were having no experience with html prior to this, and having to learn everything by tutorial. This especially impacted us because almost all of our code is in html, so we had to adapt and learn as we went.
