Cost-sharing IT initiative in social economy
Over the past few months, some puzzle pieces crystallized into the idea of a cost-sharing IT initiative in social economy, but I don’t see the puzzle yet, nor do I know whether all pieces belong to the same puzzle… At the exploration days, I would like to bring these pieces together, and document options and missing pieces:
- Small NGO’s, non-profit associations, volunteer organizations, etc. often have a limited IT-budget and subsequently limited interest in investigating the spectrum of potentially useful tools. At the same time, they do experience a pain in finding/having made helpful IT-tools in their daily operations
- Cegeka is often looking for nice, relatively small projects, for Cegeka School final projects, internships, new employees, etc.
- Can we identify common interests of these organizations?
- Can we fit these needs and aspirations in a cost-sharing model à la Ventouris?
- Does Cegeka aspire social responsibility?
Everybody is welcome to join to explore and critically assess these ideas.
