We came across a a major issue i.e. Availability of clean water is a major issue in rural areas as most of the people find using electric run purifiers not a feasible solution as they are costly and availability of electricity is also a major issue and as a population is increasing the power consumption and usage of natural resources is increasing day by day, so it is important to find a way to conserve the natural resources and to minimise the power consumption.

How we built it

Our team has come up with a way to conserve power and to reduce the wastage of water , we designed a solar water purifier which works on solar energy and has no water wastage. This purifier functions on renewable power source so it is suitable for rural areas as electricity is not available in some remote villages it will help them to purify water effectively and at a pocket friendly one time installation cost.

Challenges we ran into

first of all using an evacuated tube in a project increases the cost of the project but the solution of the problem is if we are making it on a large scale the cost can be reduced and an entire village can be benifitted by a singular water filter set up even though we use solar filters on a persnol level it turns out to be good investment as it does not have any maintainence cost or anything .

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we manage to combine electric run purifiers and non - electric run purifiers using renewable resources.

What we learned

we learned about usage and working of evacuated tube collectors and heat trapping mechanism further we also learnt about natural cleansers available in nature which can be used effectivley for filteration purposes.

What's next for Cost Effective Wastewater Treatment

checking making Cost effective waste water treatment a multifunctional appratus which can be used for other purposes also and trying to use the renewable sources to its fullest.
