If the calls are illegal, make them legal subject to the company accepting a distinct area code.Require companies that use Robocalls as part of their marketing scheme to have a distinct area code (009 or whatever is available). Simply ask cellphone and landline (do those still exist?) manufactures to provide consumers with the ability to block calls from the distinct area code. This technology already exists and it’s relatively inexpensive.
