AstroFashion AI – Project Story

About the Project

AstroFashion AI was born from a fun yet practical idea — what if your daily outfit could be guided by the stars, the weather, and your wardrobe? This project combines astrology, real-time weather data, and AI-powered fashion trends to recommend the perfect outfit for any day.

Inspiration

The inspiration came from observing how people often struggle to decide what to wear every day. Astrology lovers follow lucky colors, fashionistas follow trends, and practical people check the weather forecast. AstroFashion AI merges all three needs into one smart solution.

What We Learned

  • How to integrate weather APIs for real-time data.
  • Using DOB to calculate Zodiac signs and lucky colors.
  • Leveraging AI prompts in PartyRock to generate personalized recommendations.
  • Building an intuitive, user-friendly interface for non-tech users.

How We Built It

  1. User Input Blocks → DOB, Gender, Wardrobe Colors, Preferred Style, Location
  2. Weather Integration → API calls to fetch next-day weather conditions
  3. Astrology Mapping → Lucky colors & personality traits based on Zodiac signs
  4. AI Prompting → Combining weather + astrology + fashion rules to generate outfit ideas
  5. Output Blocks → Outfit suggestion, accessories, shopping recommendations

Challenges We Faced

  • Finding the right balance between astrology logic and realistic fashion trends
  • Keeping responses short, stylish, and fun for users
  • Integrating multiple factors like weather, zodiac, and wardrobe efficiently
  • Ensuring suggestions adapt to gender and cultural preferences

Future Scope

  • Adding AI-generated images of recommended outfits
  • Integration with e-commerce APIs for one-click shopping
  • A mobile-friendly app version with push notifications for daily outfit alerts
