What 🚀 About the Project

🌌 Inspiration

The vastness of space has always fascinated me, and I wanted to create something that brings the Solar System closer to people in an engaging and educational way. My inspiration came from combining my interest in astronomy with my passion for web development and animation technologies.

🛠️ How I Built It

Designed an interactive 3D Solar System with smooth animations and immersive visuals.

Integrated an asteroid tracker to simulate real-time motion.

Added informative sections about each planet and celestial body to make it both fun and educational.

Used technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and 3D models (GLTF) to bring planets and orbits to life.

Implemented Lenis for smooth scrolling and Particles.js for a space-like background.

📚 What I Learned

Fundamentals of 3D rendering and animations for the web.

Managing performance while working with complex visual effects.

How to present large amounts of information in a way that’s simple and interactive.

The importance of UI/UX design for educational projects.

⚡ Challenges

Ensuring the animations ran smoothly across different devices.

Making the project responsive without losing visual quality.

Balancing between realistic representation of planets and keeping the design lightweight for browsers.

Debugging interactions between 3D models, animations, and user inputs.

🪐 Outcome

The final project is not just a visual experience but also a learning tool. Users can explore the planets, track asteroids, and dive into detailed knowledge about our Solar System — all in one place.it does
