Inspiration
Caught in the hustle and bustle of modern society, our team asked the question: “How do we get more in tuned with our inner spiritual selves?” Looking into Meta’s Presence Platform we saw an opportunity to use Quest 3’s mixed reality capabilities to create a transformative escape.
What it does
Using Meta’s interaction SDK we guide users to perform Tai Chi movements with their hands in a pass through mixed reality environment. As the perform these movements they collect orbs of chi which will then allow them to shoot energy into their physical environment transforming it into stunning, spiritual landscapes.
How we built it
Our team brings together a mix of talent from engineering, art, design, storytelling, sound, and music. We incorporate all of these perspectives into our design process so that we can create something truly functional and evocative.
Challenges we ran into
Our team is spread out over four cities in three timezones. Coordinating this remote workflow was definitely a big challenge! But thanks to Meta and Unity, their communication and collaboration tools really enabled us to work effectively through the distance.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud that we were able to create something we could use to find peace within ourselves.
