Cosmic Recycle — AI Sci-Fi Music Video

Inspiration

Cosmic Recycle was inspired by Sweden’s deposit-based recycling system, reimagined as a vast sci-fi world. I wanted to transform a simple everyday action—returning empty cans—into an epic alien-operated industrial symphony filled with rhythm, motion, and machinery.

What it does

The film presents an interstellar recycling ecosystem where aliens and robots collect, sort, transport, and compress aluminum cans. Conveyor belts, robotic arms, and hydraulic presses move in sync with the music, turning recycling into a musical performance inside a futuristic orbital station.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

Maintaining consistent style across multiple scenes, species, and industrial environments required extensive iteration.
Synchronizing AI-generated mechanical movement with the soundtrack was especially demanding.
Realistic physics for cans, conveyor systems, and presses took careful tuning.
