Inspiration
Our inspiration is our fascination with space and music.
What it does
Generates musical notes based on the color pallet of the Nasa's photo of the day. Includes social aspects for users by using artificial intelligence to generate custom visualizations of planets based on user input.
How we built it
Used Nasa's APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day) API

Implementing APIs was a real challenge for us.

What we learned
How to implement the Open AI to generate images based on user input. Learned to use API's on our programs. Used module ColorThief to extract information about the APOD image's top 5 color pallets.
What's next for Cosmic Groove
The goal would then be to merge all our work to create a platform where music can be generated and/or custom suggest songs or artists to users where they can then explore their 'Galaxy' to interact other people's Solar Systems (Planet nodes).
