✨ Inspiration

We love astrology and we wanted to create an app that would help people connect with the cosmos and themselves. We believe that astrology is not only a tool for prediction, but also for self-discovery, empowerment, and guidance. We wanted to make astrology accessible, fun, and personalized for everyone.

⚙️ What it does

Cosmic Compass is an app that provides astrology information, predictions, and planets based on your birth details. You can check your daily horoscope, learn about your sun sign, moon sign, rising sign, and other planetary placements, and discover how the current cosmic events affect you. You can also snapshot/compare your chart with others and see how compatible you are.

🛠️ How we built it

We built Cosmic Compass using partyrock aws, a platform that allows us to create and host web apps without coding. We used Claude LLM, a natural language generation engine, to create the horoscopes and astrology content. We also used an astrology API to get the planetary data and calculations.

🚀 Challenges we ran into

One of the challenges we faced was finding a reliable and accurate astrology API that would provide us with the necessary data and calculations. We also had to make sure that the content generated by Claude LLM was coherent, relevant, and engaging.

We are proud of creating an app that combines our passion for astrology with our creativity and technical skills.
