Inspiration

During the hackathon we were scrolling through youtube short and came upon a video showing websites that you can access to view public camera footage of roads and highways.

What it does

Corvus turns roadway camera footage into vehicle intelligence, helping insurers better understand driving risk and make smarter underwriting and pricing decisions.

How we built it

We used Yolo to identify cars, bytetrack to track the car.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenges was our modeling kept making a lot of false positives classifications on car models and make.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A big accomplishment that we had was the website showing the demo of our platform and how well the frontend and backend were implemented to be optimized and scalable.

What we learned

We learned how to work with a ton of raw data to feed our pre-trained Yolo model. Incorporating web functionalities with our backend system so they acted as one cohesive system.
