Corsafe

Inspiration

The rapid growth of spreading of this covid-19 virus was the main motivation for us to indulge ourselves in building in these webapps for the wellness of people

What it does

This is a series of web apps which are made to serve various purposes starting with providing awareness to the people, checking for masks in people and also makes sure whether social distancing is maintained or not and there is seperate web app for the people to use it to find the disease they have by just providing the symptoms they undergo.

How I built it

We built all the apps using various frameworks mainly starting with ReactJs for the front-end for corsafe-info and mask,social distance and xray are made with python,html,css,js and flask and disease predictor is made with django,python,html,css and js.We used machine learning and computer-vision for backend in all four apps except corsafe-info to achieve the model solution accurately.

Challenges I ran into

We ran into a lot of problems while collecting datasets and training it for the accurate predictions in mask,social distancing and disease-predictor. Also we faced troubles while collecting proper API's for the data used in info app.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We are very proud about producing almost 99% accurate results in all the three apps excluding info app and also we are proud that we accomplished such a big issue in the stipulated time frame.

What I learned

Firstly we would say we learnt how to manage time, how to work in a team and divide the work among the team without creating any problems and we also are proud to tell that we learnt a lot of technical stuff while doing this project and we are happy to take that home.

What's next for Corsafe

The future advancements we would like to provide for Corsafe is that all the apps will be enabled with a login and register setup so only ensured users use it and also the data storage facility will be likely added so the users can store their medical results and access it whenever needed. We are also planning on adding a entertainment section on the info app providing users a place to get their minds off when they are stuck at a pandemic like this. The apps will also be enabled with general medical data and general medical info so these apps will be effectively in use even after the pandemic ends.
