Inspiration

We are facing new challenges. One of them is that each country and each region is deciding by itself how to handle the crisis. As a result regions that have a similar level of readiness to the crisis may still see their borders closed, although this does not bring any advantages. We need to bring open borders back, but in an informed manner. I'm launching a worldwide Coronavirus Readiness Audit. I have contacts in both top educational institutions that are at the forefront of research on the virus as well as in certification bodies.

What it does

The infrastructure will provide an updated knowledge base and a universal set of criteria for countries, regions, towns, etc to self-check their readiness and their level of awareness and control of the virus' spread. Individuals will be empowered to carry out these audits and to produce reports, which will be cross-checked by their peers in other countries

How I built it

We're starting from scratch

Challenges I ran into

Cross-certification and peer review will cover a central role to guarantee the impartial judgement of each case.
