Inspiration
There are a lot of fake news about Covid-19 and there is a lot of confusion about the topic. This website in meant as a simple and intuitive information center for Coronavirus in Italy. As there are a lot of fundraising campaigns, this website give a list of possibilities to the citizen to donate for fighting the Covid-19.
What it does
"Coronavirus Informazioni Italia" is an Information Center about Coronavirus in Italy. Here are the features:
Number of infected people: You can choose a favourite region and province to see the numbers divided by Italy, Region and Province. This information is updated daily and taken from "Dipartimento di Protezione Civile".
Information: Links to the official sources of information in Italy.
Maps: Links to the infection maps developed by "Dipartimento di Protezione Civile".
Self-certification: Download the official and updated self-certification form that is mandatory to go out.
Donations: List of fundraising campaigns to fight the Covid-19 in Italy.
Solidarity: List of solidarity initiatives in Italy.
With a simple and intuitive interface, this website is fully responsive and can be viewed from desktops or mobile phones.
How I built it
This website is developed with HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap and deployed with GitHub and Netlify. Data (number of infected people) is taken from this GitHub repository: https://github.com/pcm-dpc/COVID-19
What's next for Coronavirus Informazioni Italia
Useful updates can be added to this website, such as new fundraising campaigns and solidarity initiatives or new functionalities like interactive maps.
