Inspiration:
All of us should contribute in order to fight the spread of COVID-19, at least we can make a slight change to the best our community and the whole humanity.
What it does:
Corona Tracker provides visibility on our neighborhood, it displays anonymously the number of people who checked in the same area.
How I built it:
The project was built using simple features that make bigger impact, from the use of Google Maps API to show the map and using login APIs from Facebook and Google allowing everybody to use it.
Challenges I ran into :
The main challenge was to finalize it in a very short time, and to be ready to be used across the globe.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of:
The main accomplishment is the help our community to stay safe.
What I learned:
When there is reason, there is a way. We can stay home and be productive: new motto for the actual situation.
What's next for Corona Tracker
It requires some enhancements at the UX/UI level, in addition to include more statistics about COVID-19 and include the officially declared cases on the map.
