Corona hotels

Inspiration

The hospitals will soon run out of space for all the Corona infected people. Instead of allowing infected people with mild symptoms stay at home and have the risk of them infecting other people, I suggest to turn hotels into a space for infected people.

What it does

Instead of staying isolated at home, infected people will have a social life at hotel and communicate with other infected people. They will also get food deliveries and health control. Another option is to allow people who is not at risk age/background group to deliberately get infected and spend 2-3 week in such hotel. That way the overall population can quickly get over the virus because most of it will develop immunity. But that's not clear yet, if people do develop immunity after they healed from Coronavirus.

How I built it

I want to build an app and a website to list hotels that already turned into 'Corona hotels' and booking system where people can book their stay, just as they do when they go to a vacation. Other services can follow, like finding friends in such hotels, initiating social activities, creating delivery network and etc.

Challenges I ran into

I have the tech knowledge required to create the app and website, but I will need help of people from health and hotel industry to make sure it's all possible.
