Inspiration
The inspiration for our project was the coronavirus pandemic. Due to this pandemic, we decided to create a news app where people find news about the pandemic, advice & precautions to take, & activities to keep yourself occupied while at home.
What it does
Our app provides the latest news about the coronavirus pandemic, precautions that we should take to keep us safe, & entertainment to keep ourselves occupied while at home.
How I built it
We used replit to create the app & used html, CSS, & JavaScript.
Challenges I ran into
Challenges we faced include aligning images & formatting the text.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Accomplishments we are proud of are that we were able to create a working website, some of us as beginners to coding while others with a little experience. This was our first hackathon & we are proud of the product we created.
What I learned
We learned how to use html, CSS, and JavaScript to make an app considering that we are beginners.
What's next for Corona Chronicle
Next for this app is that we include more news & updates, potential interactive games, & suggestions for users.
