Inspiration

One billion meals a day are wasted due to food waste. Cornucopia aims to those meals into the stomachs of hungry people.

What it does

There are three components: the Cornucopia app, a Food Basket solar powered cooler, and AI functionality. The app connects both donors and recipients to identify available food and its location. The Food Basket controls distribution, keeping food fresh in warm climates, avoiding possible spoilage. Our smart AI alerts donors about which foods might be available to donate based on grocery history. It also suggests locations for Recipients to pick available foods and provides recipes using these ingredients, as well as provides nutritional information to Recipients.
