Inspiration
Our corgi, Bumi, is reactive and training him as a couple was chaotic. Missed logs, misaligned expectations, and growing fear: what happens when there's a baby?
We built Corgi Quest to fix that by turning training into a real-time RPG we could play together.
What it does
- Voice logs (e.g. “30-minute walk, passed two dogs”) → structured XP
- Live sync across devices: stats, goals, streaks
- AI Coach Mode: “Start training,” “Mark rep,” “End session”
- Vision Pro HUD: real-time overlays during sessions
- Cosmetic rewards and dynamic quests to stay motivated
How we built it
- Kiro specs powered the XP system, session logic, and schema
- Steering gave Kiro context on dog training and couple dynamics
- Hooks automated Convex types, docs, and tests
- Vibe coding sped up UI, logic, and VR dev across surfaces
Challenges
Mapping raw voice logs into clean XP events took iteration.
Getting visionOS working with real-time sync was new territory.
But Kiro made it fast to scaffold and adapt.
What’s next
More dog profiles, smarter coaching, behavior trends and helping more couples train together.
