In a world obsessed with crypto, power, and endless upgrades, we wanted to capture that digital gold rush feeling - the thrill of building something from nothing and watching your empire grow.
What it does
CoreByte Tycoon lets players step into the shoes of a crypto mogul. Buy GPU rigs, boost your power, collect coins, and complete tasks from a mysterious creator who seems to know more than he should.
How we built it
We built the world in Horizon Worlds, combining custom scripting, UI systems, and dynamic progression logic to make every upgrade feel meaningful and rewarding.
Challenges we ran into
Optimizing performance while keeping upgrades smooth and visually satisfying pushed us to the limits of Horizon’s systems. Balancing economy and player flow was a puzzle of its own.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We turned a simple idea - mining crypto - into an engaging, living tycoon world with milestones, upgrades, and a competitive leaderboard system.
