An app for alerting users about local issues such as electricity waste, emissions, lack of greenery, and water pollution/waste

What it does

The users can quiz themselves and get rated on how well they are doing regarding the ecosystem and sustainability. Then, they can learn how to gain skills that allow them to improve their community and keep the world sustainable.

How we built it

With the use of Expo (a framework that allows developers to code in a React Native format and compile to Android, apple, and the web), and through a bit of trial-and-error.

Challenges we ran into

Rendering and sequencing errors, and several bugs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This was the fastest project that we have created with preserved quality.

What we learned

Picked up Expo and Mobile App Development quickly and understood how to create a production-ready app.

What's next for Core

More features, such as added tools in electricity tracking, tree planting initiatives, etc. would be useful to the user
