Inspiration

We have seen how liquidations are the major risk for a borrower and how stressful is to maintain your position when the price of the collateral goes down. That's why we created a better way to borrow.

What it does

It enables borrowers to get a loan without the risk of being liquidated.

How we built it

We are using a decentralized risk management that uses options strategies to calculate the parameters for the lending pool. By using options strategies we can manage the risk in a very efficient manner.

Challenges we ran into

The subgraph is not supported yet in the Evmos ecosystem and that was very painful.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We manage to deploy a protocol to the Evmos testnet that is fully functional.

What we learned

We learned more about the Evmos ecosystem and how to develop DApps in Evmos.

What's next for Cora Protocol

We hope we can win this competition and then we would like to run a testnet competition with the Evmos community.
