Inspiration

Small businesses often have the information they need to make good decisions, but that information is scattered across sales records, expenses, invoices, spreadsheets, messages, and notes. Many business owners cannot afford a full team of experts to constantly analyze everything for them.

That inspired me to build CORA AI — an AI business team that helps business owners understand what is happening in their business and decide what to do next.

What CORA Does

CORA brings business information into one place and uses specialized AI agents to analyze it. Instead of giving the owner one generic chatbot, CORA is designed as a team of AI roles such as a CFO, CEO, Sales Agent, and AI Assistant.

The CFO can focus on financial performance and cash flow, the Sales Agent can identify opportunities, the CEO agent can help prioritize business problems, and the Assistant provides answers and explanations in natural language.

The goal is simple: turn scattered business information into clear decisions and practical next actions.

How I Built It

I built the prototype using modern web technologies and AI-assisted development tools. The interface was designed as a business dashboard where users can view key business information, interact with the AI team, and explore recommendations.

The system is designed around multiple specialized AI agents rather than a single assistant. Business data is provided to the system, the appropriate AI role analyzes the information, and the results are presented to the business owner in a simple and understandable way.

What I Learned

Building CORA taught me that creating an AI product is not only about connecting an AI model to an application. The important part is designing how the AI works with real user information, how different agents can have different responsibilities, and how humans remain in control of important decisions.

I also learned how important it is to make complex AI systems understandable to ordinary users.

Challenges

One of the biggest challenges was building a convincing multi-agent experience while keeping the product simple enough for a business owner to understand.

Another challenge was working with limited resources and relying heavily on AI-assisted development. I had to continuously test the interface, fix problems, and simplify the experience.

CORA is still an early prototype, but the vision is much bigger: to make an intelligent digital business team accessible to businesses that cannot afford a large professional team.
